Nathan Phillips Square
They’re back, they’re hungry and they’re celebrating their tenth march of the undead and they want you to join in.
It was on a dreary autumn day, 10 years ago, that an undead tradition was born! Like any looming zombie apocalypse, zombies walk were soon popping up around the world.
Ten years ago, in our fair city, the earth caved in and the dead crawled and lurched their way from their graves to walk the streets of Toronto!
On October 20th the Dead will rise once more for the 10th annual Toronto Zombie Walk!!
Thanks to our dedicated horde, we’ve outgrown our old location, and we will now be hosting our walk at the iconic Nathan Phillips Square just outside of Toronto City Hall.
We are so pleased to announce that our Grand Marshals for this year’s walk will be John A. Russo and Russ Streiner.
For the first time in the history of the Toronto Zombie Walk, we are proud to partner with the Heart and Stroke Foundation to help them carry out their mission of eliminating heart disease and stroke.
This year promises to be our biggest and goriest yet, with vendors, bands and more BLOOD!
Pre Walk Event and Activities

The Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSF) is running an advocacy campaign aimed at raising awareness about CPR through their ‘Undeading’ video available at www.undeading.ca. HSF will be on hand to sell tickets to their event at Canada’s Wonderland, in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most people trained in CPR at one time.
Help us in celebrating our 10th year by making your own party hat at the Make your own Party Hat booth by Centre 3. Use brains, eyeballs or bugs to decorate your very own hat!

The Walk was listed in June 2010 Issue of Toronto Life Magazine as one of the 50 reasons to love Toronto.
