Though the scourge seems to have subsided (by subsided I mean I can't hear the screaming anymore), are you sure you're really safe?

No sooner had we published "Toronto:  City of the Living Dead" last week, when the flood gates opened... a true outpouring of blood and guts.  YES!  Yes, Toronto IS The City of the Living Dead!

And if this article does not convince you that it is, I will eat my next door neighbor.

"I'm not sure if you've heard of us already or how much you may know about the project, but we had a very successful Fringe show and have been running it as a transmedia performance since the spring this year - the basic premise is that we are a lifestyle biotech company (ByoLogyc) who released a product earlier this year called Byorenew... but the release did not go as planned, and there have been problems with the product mutating and causing illness."

They just did Nuit Blanche where they had about 3000 people through their exhibit.

At the top of the pile of events that qualify in the "City of the Living Dead" category, is something that really straddles fiction and reality.  Immerse yourself into a world in it's final death throws, if you think you can handle it.  Not for the faint of heart, ByoLogyc: Retreat is a live performance artistic experience in which you are NOT a passive observer.  The developers have described it as:  "playing a video game in real life, where things unfold in realtime, with the sins of man that lead up to an outbreak... and, oh yes, there will be zombies!"

Three years in the making, this outbreak is happening now as you read this.  Need to communicate with those inside this microcosm, Tweet @DahliaJoss,  Byologyc's IT director/resident badass hacker chick.  Online to help you, RIGHT NOW!!  Now, and as long as she survives.
